Outside Sales - Business Development Loan Officer

PBS Capital/Premier Business Services is currently expanding its sales team and is looking for Full-Time Business Development Loan Officers who see the opportunity of unlimited income potential on 2%-7.5% commission with loans from $5k-$500k. Six figure incomes are highly probable for motivated individuals. We are looking for talented sales professionals and finance brokers who thrive on closing new business as well as maintaining and servicing existing client relationships. You must be comfortable with a selling a financially oriented product. A background in sales (with an emphasis in loans or mortgages is a plus but not required).

Small business owners who have attempted to secure traditional business loans but have been declined turn to alternative funders like us to help them secure that capital they need to grow, meet payroll, purchase new equipment and inventory, pay taxes, pay rent, renovate and much more.


Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for selling PBS Capitals products and services to include but not limited to business funding solutions to prospective businesses by communicating the benefits of those and develop relationships with business that need working capital. Provide detailed information on the various services offered by PBS Capital and orient the client to the company. Conduct all interaction, communication, negotiation and/or correspondence with business applicants. Establish and maintain new and existing clients.  This position reports directly to the Commercial Finance Division Manager.

Wage: Commission only (6 Figures 1st year expected)    


Essential Job Functions:


Contact, acquire and sell our commercial business financing services to all types of businesses large and small, new businesses as well as existing and established businesses. Schedule appointments and personal visits with prospects. Work with clients through the funding process and future needs.  Build lasting relationships and work closely with bankers, business brokers, insurance agents and other “centers of influence” for referrals of their clients. Conduct all interaction, communication, negotiation and/or correspondence with business applicants. Implement marketing programs that consist of cold canvas postcard/flyer distribution, direct mailing campaigns as well as telemarketing campaigns.  Achieve budgeted revenue goals. Comfortable with working out and around the El Paso area the majority of the time, with some occasional time in the office. Actively seeks new businesses and follows up appropriately. Maintains knowledge of goals, objectives and services provided by the organization. Remains informed of services benefits, company events, etc. Attends regular sales/staff meetings. Other duties as assigned


Desired Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:


Minimum 2-5 year of business to business sales (in the business finance industry preferred but not required).Strong organization, time management and multi-tasking skills, detailed oriented. Top-flight listening skills a must. Self-starter with a professional appearance. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel and Word. Must have/maintain a dependable vehicle with proof of license and insurance. Ability to prospect/cold-call new businesses. Strong verbal and written communications skills. One who can think outside the box to offer new ideas, concepts, solutions, etc. Capable of maintaining sensitive/confidential information. Must be a team player that works well in an adapting environment. Must have the ability to foster the values of business relations. Exceptional people skills with an outgoing personality. Flexible schedule.
